SUSHI GIRL: A DOCUMENTARY
Sushi Girl: A Documentary came together organically, when director Kern Saxton asked me to come by the set of his first feature for a few days. I captured 25 hours of footage of friends and new faces over the course of 7 days. The final length is 60 mins, and displays an intimate view of life on an independent film set, featuring Mark Hamill, Tony Todd, Noah Hathaway and others.

Can’t Buy Me Love (1987) THE SLOW CLAP
Cast Reunion (left to right): Eric Bruskotter, Gerardo “Rico Suave” Mejia, Cort McCown, (myself), Screenwriter Michael Swerdlick, Darcy DeMoss, Courtney Gains, Max Perlich
In February 2011, cast members of the 1987 romantic comedy CAN’T BUY ME LOVE reassembled for a reunion screening of the film. I had so much fun putting this event together and was thrilled to be amongst the cast and fans of this 80’s classic. In this clip, actor Eric Bruskotter aka “Big John” gives the audience a reprisal of his epic slow clap moment from the film, along with some humorous insight about playing it straight on shoot day.

A Sin Is Born
Rachel Federoff and Destin Pfaff became parents, and I was able to document the preparation and birth of their son, Sin Halo Jude Pfaff. Here’s a short clip of my favorite American Gothic family:
